Day 01 Miri - Sibu

Depart from Miri with scenic countryside drive through the oil plantation and local pepper farms and villages. Stopover at Niah rest-point for short refreshment. Proceed to Bintulu for lunch at local restaurant. Journey continue on the Pan-Borneo highway into the heart of rich and diverse culture - Sibu, the main port and commercial centre for Rejang. After dinner, is time for night scene and leisure walk at the Sibu Gateway. There is also good shopping at the Pasar Malam or night market, the liveliest in Sarawak, with numerous of stall offering a bewildering variety of goods.

Return & Overnight at Sibu Li Hua Hotel.

Day 02 Sibu - Kuching

After breakfast, proceed to Jubilee Park and follows by sightseeing tour to place of interest in Sibu - the beautiful seven-storey pagoda and the Tua Pek Kong Temple, Sibu Town Square. Lunch and check-out hotel. Proceed to Kuching. The road journey to Kuching takes about 6-7 hours. We will arrive Kuching in the late evening. Check in Kingwood Inn.

Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Overnight at City Hotel.

Day 03 Kuching

Transfer by coach to Damai/Santubong after breakfast. The journey take about 35 minutes. Picturesque Santubong fishing village with excellent beaches also as the site of serveral archaelogical discoveries. Mount Santubong is one of the first landmarks to attract tourist attention. Then majestic forest-clad mountain rises strainght out of the South China with its steep slpes to a height of 2,700 ft above sea level. The legendary tales provides an interesting insight of its early inhibitants, culture and trade with outside world. Buntal fishing village is famous with its numerous of seafood centres spring up like muchrooms alongside the road leading to the resort of Santubong. There is a Chinese Temple built on top the hill overlook Buntal fishing village.

Return to the city in the evening. Dinner and Overnight at City Hotel.

Day 04 Kuching

After breakfast, the journey begins with a leisurely stroll along the Waterfront to explore the historical buildings and admire the modern sculpture, open-air threatre and musical fountain. The image scene back to the year of colonisation of the White Rajah in 1839. Just across the road is the Main Bazaar, once the city's commercial center, now housing curio and antique shops, travel agents and coffee shops. It is considered as an 'antique arcade' with its old-fashioned facade and variety of antique and handicrafts to be found here, even birds' nest can be sought. Nearby is the Sarawak Museum with its beautiful gardens and the park built round the old town reservoir.

The afternoon is yours to pop into one of the air-conditioned shopping malls in the city center. There you'll find brand name goods as well as local handicrafts and food outlets.

Day 05 Kuching - Sarikei

After breakfast, we heading to Sarikei - a bustling river town crammed with old Chinese shop houses and famous for its delicious pineapples and pepper. It is a transit point for buses and express boats heading east or west throughout Sarawak. Anybody travelling here will not miss the chance to find some Chinese herbs and local products to be bought home.

Dinner and Overnight at Dragon Inn.

Day 06 Sarikei - Miri
