Itinerary

Depart from Miri with a scenic country side drive to Niah National Park through oil plantation and local pepper farms and villages. stopover at Niah rest-point for refreshment. Check-in and register at Niah National Park office. Take a longboat ride at Pangkalan Lobang to cross the Niah River. Start off the Niah Cave tour with a visit to the Niah Museum and followed by an hour plank walk to visit the Trader Cave. Approximately 3 hours tour into the caves where the 40,000-year-old human remains were found and making it the most important archeological sites in the world. Witness the birthplace of civilization in Asia through touring the Great and Painted Caves, and observe the old-time remnants of bird's harvesting equipments. Lunch at Niah stop-point before heading back to Miri.

Kabuloh ~ Niah Day Trip

Itinerary

Depart from Miri around 0830hrs. Drive on the Miri-Bintulu Road passing the oil palm field before reaching the Sibuti Junction we be turning into the Kabuloh Agricultural Station for a visit. Here was the multi-crop field research with sheep, vegetables and fish ponds.
Then stop at Niah rest point for lunch before heading to Niah National Park. Check-in and register at park HQ. Meet at jetty. Take a boat ride to cross Niah river. Visit the Niah Museum. Start walking on the planks to Niah Caves. Visit the Great and Painted Caves and observe the old-time remnants of bird's nest harvesting equipments.
